6.5.2.2 Parameterization for PROFIsafe
When using the PROFIsafe, the protocol requires specific safety parameters (F-parameters) to be sent from F-host to F-device. These
parameter values must be set to the drive via the MCT-10 safety tool and to F-host via its configuration tool. During start-up, the
values on the F-host are transmitted to the drive, and the drive checks the values against the values on the drive. The values config-
ured to F-host and F-device must be the same for the safety communication to start.
The safety layer starts whenever the communication channel (PROFINET) is communicating cyclically. An unsuccessful initialization
of the PROFIsafe protocol does not have an effect on the PROFINET cyclic communication. The PROFINET cyclic communication can
be used to read diagnostic information if the PROFIsafe parameterization fails.

The following PROFIsafe-related parameters cannot be edited in FC 280. They must have the same value in the safety PLC communi-
cation to the gateway chip in FC 280 over PROFIsafe. The values in the following table are defined in the fieldbus GSD description
file, which is provided for the gateway chip in FC 280 by Danfoss, and must not be modified.
FC 280 has Type 1 of F-Address-Check, it means only F_DestAdd is checked by the drive.

PROFIsafe address of PLC.
The value must be the same as the F destination address on FC 280.
The value must be the same as the F WD time on FC 280.
The value must be the same as the final CRC of the parameter file on FC 280. The value can be seen
in MCT-10 after the verification of the parameter file is completed, on the control panel of the drive
or in the commissioning report printed from MCT-10.
The value must be the same as the safety telegram in FC 280. F-I/O data must be mapped as descri-
