6.3.2.1 SS1-t Triggered by DI
To enable safe DI as SS1-t input, set parameter 42-20 Safe Function as [9] SS1-t. The following table shows SS1-t statuses based on
whether terminals 37 and 38 are energized.

To enable safety fieldbus protocol, set parameter 42-60 Telegram Selection to [1] PROFIsafe Std. Tel. 30. SS1-t control command is sent
from the upper device continuously and periodically. The command includes:
• SS1-t inactive
• SS1-t active
