6.2 Activating the channels output
Depending on the models, the outputs of the channels (Ch 1, Ch 2, Ch 3) can be
switched on or off by toggling the [Output] key on the front panel.
By default, the output is turned off when the instrument is switched on. The output is
also automatically turned off when no channel is selected. This design prevents a con-
nected load from being damaged unintentionally.
Access:
1. Press the required channel key.
Selected channel key (Ch 1, Ch 2, Ch 3) illuminates.
2. Press [Output] key.
The R&S NGE100B outputs the set voltage of the selected channel.
Depending on the operating mode, the font text in the channel display area shows
green in CV mode and red in CC mode.
