6.7.1 EasyArb

EasyArb function
The arbitrary function is available only in Ch 1.

The arbitrary functions in LabVIEW driver rshmc804x do not support the EasyArb fea-
ture in the R&S NGE100B.
The R&S NGE100B series allows you to generate freely programmable waveforms
which can be reproduced within the limits set by the instrument for voltage and current.
1. Select "EasyArb" menu item.
The R&S NGE100B displays the "EasyArb" dialog. See
Figure 6-10: EasyArb dialog
2. Set "EasyArb Mode on Ch 1" to "Enabled".
The R&S NGE100B enabled the EasyArb function for Ch 1.
Note: If "EasyArb Mode" is set disabled, corresponding output state of Ch 1 is also
disabled.
3. Set the desired repetition cycle for the EasyArb function.
4. Set the desired data points for the EasyArb function.
The R&S NGE100B displays the number of EasyArb entry points in the EasyArb
table.
5. Configure the EasyArb table with the desired values for voltage, current and dura-
tion.
6. Select "Apply" to save the EasyArb settings.
The EasyArb data points are sent to Ch 1.
7. Select "Clear" to reset the EasyArb table values.
All the EasyArb data points are cleared from Ch 1.
