WLAN connection
The LAN connection has a higher priority over WLAN.
If LAN is connected, the WLAN connection will be disconnected. When LAN is discon-
nected, WLAN reconnects automatically.
An alterative to connection in local area network is wireless LAN connection. With the
presence of an authenticated Wi-Fi signal, the R&S NGE100B automatically connects
to a network and navigation can be made via the web browser according to the WLAN
IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards.
1. Select "WLAN" menu item.
The R&S NGE100B displays the "WLAN" dialog.

2. Select "Enabled" for "Module".
3. Set the "SSID"
SSID - Service Set Identifier, a unique ID used for naming wireless network.
4. Set the associated password for the "SSID".
5. Select the "Connect" button.
If connection is successful, the "Status" shows "Connected". See
When the connection is alive, the WLAN icon turns green on the status bar. See
"Device status bar"
