You can redirect frames between any Ethernet 6X2XX series module ports and any other
Ethernet ports.
•
The VLAN tag in the frame, as it is being mirrored, is maintained and forwarded to the
destination mirrored port.
•
You can add a new port redirect entry to a destination port that is already saved and active.
However, this will cause a Local Management warning to appear at the top left corner of the
screen.
How to Access
Use the arrow keys to highlight the PORT REDIRECT CONFIGURATION menu item on the
Redirect Configuration Menu screen and press ENTER. The Port Redirect Configuration screen,
Figure 6-6, displays.
