3.14 CIRCOLAZIONE SU STRADA

In ogni circostanza, rispettare la normativa relativa alla
guida dei trattori agricoli a ruote in vigore nel paese di
utilizzo. QUANDO si conduce il trattore su una strada
pubblica, occorre adottare un certo numero di misure
preventive.
AVVISO: NON ammettere passeggeri sul trattore
né sull'attrezzatura trainata.
• Essere a conoscenza del percorso da compiere.
• Usare i lampeggianti o il faro per viaggiare su
strada, di giorno o di notte, se non vietato dalla
legge.
• Prestare attenzione quando si traina un
carico a velocità di trasporto, specialmente se
l'attrezzatura trainata NON è dotata di freni.
• Rispettare tutte le norme locali o nazionali
riguardanti la velocità su strada del trattore.
• Usare la massima attenzione se si effettuano
trasporti su strade innevate o viscide.
• Aspettare che il traffico consenta l'immissione
sulla strada pubblica desiderata.
• Prestare attenzione agli incroci ciechi. Rallentare
fino ad avere una buona visibilità.
• NON cercare di passare a qualsiasi incrocio.
• Rallentare in caso di tornanti e curve.
• Descrivere curve ampie e dolci.
• Segnalare l'intenzione di ridurre la velocità,
arrestarsi o svoltare.
• Scalare la marcia prima di affrontare salite o
discese.
• Tenere il trattore in presa. NON lasciare che
il trattore proceda per inerzia con la frizione
disinnestata o il cambio in folle.
• Non invadere la carreggiata lungo la quale scorre
il traffico in arrivo.
• Condurre il mezzo nella propria corsia quanto più
vicino al bordo della strada possibile.
• Se si forma una coda dietro il trattore, accostare e
lasciare il passo.
• Guidare con attenzione. Prevedere ciò che gli altri
conducenti potrebbero fare.
• Quando si traina un carico, iniziare la frenata
prima del normale e rallentare gradualmente.
• Fare attenzione e eventuali ostacoli al di sopra del
mezzo.
• Assicurarsi che il carico non nasconda eventuali
spie luminose o altre luci.
• Bloccare insieme i pedali dei freni.

3.14 ROAD CIRCULATION
Under all circumstances, comply with the regulations
about driving wheeled agricultural tractors applicable
in the country of use. WHEN driving the tractor on a
public road, take several preventive measures.
WARNING: DO NOT allow riders on the tractor nor
on the towed equipment.
• Be familiar with the foreseen itinerary.
• Use flashers or beacon to drive on the road, at
day or night, unless forbidden by law.
• Pay utmost attention when towing a load at
transport speed, especially if the towed equipment
has NO brakes.
• Respect all local or national rules about tractor's
speed on the road.
• Use utmost care if doing the transport on snowy
or slippery roads.
• Wait until the traffic allows tractor entry on the
public road.
• Pay attention to any blind road crossing. Slow
down until your visibility improves.
• DO NOT try to pass at any road crossing.
• Slow down in case of hairpin bends and turns.
• Describe wide and soft bends.
• Signal your intention to slow down, stop or turn.
• Shift down gears before driving uphill or downhill.
• Keep tractor's drive. DO NOT let the tractor move
forward by inertia with clutch disengaged or gear
in neutral.
• Do not move onto the lane for incoming traffic.
• Drive you vehicle in you lane as close as possible
to the road side.
• If vehicles are queuing behind the tractor, set
aside and let them pass.
• Drive carefully. Foresee the actions of the other
drivers.
• When towing a load, start braking in advance and
gradually slow down.
• Pay attention to any possible obstacles above the
vehicle.
• Make sure the load does not hide any warning
lights or other lights.
• Couple brake pedals together.
