For the flexible compression paddle, which is not intended to be flat and parallel to the breast support
table during compression, the deflection must be within the following values:

Minimum: 12 mm.

Maximum: 14 mm.

Corrective action
•
If the deflection exceeds the specified limits, the paddle should be replaced.
