Filter
Measurement filter function can be enabled/disabled by using the Filter key.
If the FILT indicator is turned off, pressing the Filter key opens the Measure Filter
dialog box. Pressing OK after setting up the dialog box enables the filter function
and turns the FILT indicator on.
If the FILT indicator is turned on, pressing the Filter key disables the function and
turns the FILT indicator off.
The filter function is used to average measurement result data, calculate moving
average, and so on. For the precise and reliable measurement, it is recommended
to use the filter function, see
information.

Measurement Range

Measurement range is the factor to determine the coverage of measurable values.
The following ranging modes are available. The mode can be selected by pressing
the RANGE function key. Where, the softkey label shows the present measurement
range setting, AUTO or fixed range value.

Sets the Normal auto aperture and the AUTO range.
Decreases measurement speed (increases aperture time).

Automatic ranging mode, AUTO
Instrument automatically selects and uses the range which provides the best
resolution for the measurement value.
Fixed range mode, FIXED
Instrument uses the specified range only.
Sets the fixed range and changes the range up.
Sets the AUTO range and the Normal auto aperture.
Sets the fixed range and changes the range down.
