6-11-1. Anamorphic Lens Generating Line
Adjustment (Slant Adjustment)

When the aspect conversion lens of BKFV-410 is used, if
the generating line is slanting notably, perform the follow-
ing adjustment.
Equipment: HD picture monitor
(Sony HDM-20EIJ or the equivalents)
Tools:
Mirror adjusting tool (resolution chart and
chart holding tool) (J-6515-100-A)
or
SMPTE standard film, SMPTE RP-40
L-shaped wench (1.5 mm)
L-shaped wench (1 mm)
Screw locking compound
Preparations
1. Connect the HD picture monitor to MONITOR
(SUPER) connector on the HD OUT board (OPM-28
board) on the connector panel.
Adjustment
1. Remove the three setscrews of the aspect conversion
lens using L-shaped wrench (1.5 mm) shown in the
figure.
2. Loosen the three setscrews in the holes of the removed
screws in step 1 using L-shaped wrench (1 mm).

3. Install the aspect conversion lens to the master zoom
4. Install the lens assembled in step 3 to the FVS-1000,

lens, and remove the play by turning the aspect
conversion lens in the arrow direction. (As for the
installation, refer to step 12 of Section 1-10.)
