1-11. Installation of Optional Units
1-11-2. BKFV-400/1
This BKFV-400/1 is the accessory kit for FVS-1000 System to enables the conversion from 16 mm film
to data.
The BKFV-400/1 is composed of the following blocks.
. 16 mm Zoom Lens
. Gate Base (16) Assembly with 16 mm Integrating Sphere
. 16S Pad Assembly
. 16T Pad Assembly
. Retainer (16) Assembly
. Core Retainer (16) Assembly
Installation/Replacement Procedures
(1) 16 mm Zoom Lens Replacement
Replace the 16 mm zoom lens with the lens attached to the FVS-1000. (As for the installation/
replacement procedures, refer to step 12 "Installation of lenses" in "Installation Procedure" of Section
1-10.)
(2) Gate Integrating Sphere (16) Assembly Replacement
Rotate the two one-touch screws 90 degrees in counterclockwise direction by hand, and then replace
the gate integrating sphere (35) assembly of the FVS-1000 with the gate integrating sphere (16)
assembly. (Refer to Section 3-2-1 "Cleaning the Gate Base (35)/(16) Assembly for details".)
