Freeze Operation
The freeze function consists of two parts:
[I]
recording and
[gJ
playback.
In the HR-MPS, these two functions are
respectively assigned to the first and
second edit pages. The recording and
playback procedures are outlined below.
1. Recording Preparations
• Go into Edit mode and load FREEZ
into the EFFl effect block. (Load
FREEZ by changing the effect type. If
FREEZ is already loaded, this step is
not necessary.) (Refer to page 30.)
• Check to make sure that the first
parameter edit page is displayed. (At
this time, sound is heard and the unit
enters record standby mode.)
2. Recording
• If "Key" (manual trigger) is selected
as the recording mode, press the REC
key at the desired point to start
recording.
• If" Auto" (automatic trigger) is
selected as the recording mode, set
the threshold parameter and then
press the Ready key (FUNCTION E
button). Once this is done, recording
starts automatically when a signal
exceeding the threshold level is
input. (Recording may start
automatically immediately after the
recording mode is set to" Auto." If
this occurs, start recording again by
pressing the Ready key.)
• When recording is finished, the
sound automatically stops.
3. Playback
• Press the EDIT /PAGE button to
display the second parameter edit
page.
• Press the Play key (FUNCTION D
button) to start playback from the
start point. Playback continues only
while the Play key is held pressed .
(Set the start, stop and loop points as
desired.)
4. Re-recording
• Press the EDIT /PAGE button to
display the first parameter edit page.
• Press the Ready key (FUNCTION E
button). The unit enters record
standby mode and the sound is
heard again.
• Repeat the procedure in step 2 above.
Note:
The recorded sound is erased when the
power is turned off, a program change is
carried out, the structure is changed, or the
bypass mode is selected. Also, the Save
operation cannot be used to store the
recorded sound in memory.

Avec le HR-MPS, ces deux fonctions sont
attribuees respectivement a la premiere et a
la seconde page d'edition. Les procedures
d'enregistrement et de lecture sont
expliquees ci-dessous.
1. Preparatifs de l'enregistrement
• Passez en mode Edit et chargez
FREEZ clans le bloc d'effet EFFl.
(Chargez FREEZ en changeant le
type d'effet). Si FREEZ est deja
charge, passez cette etape) (Voir la
page
31).
• Assurez-vous que la premiere page
d'edition de parametre est affichee.
(Ace moment, un son est emis et
l'appareil passe en mode d'attente
d'enregistrement).
2. Enregistrement
• Si "Key" (declenchement manuel) est
selectionne comme mode
d'enregistrement, appuyez sur la
touche REC au point voulu pour
demarrer l'enregistrement.
• Si "Auto" (declenchement
automatique) est selectioime comme
mode d'enregistrement, regle le
parametre de seuil et puis appuyez
sur la touche Ready (bouton
FUNCTION E). Quand c'est fait,
l'enregistrement commence
automatiquement aussit6t que le
mode d'enregistrement est regle sur
"Auto". Si c'est le cas, recommencez a
enregistrer en appuyant sur touche
Ready).
• Quand I'enregistrement est fini, le
son s'arrete automatiquement.
3. Lecture
• Appuyez sur le bouton EDIT /PAGE
pour afficher la seconde page
d'edition de parametre.
• Appuyez sur la touche Play (bouton
FUNCTION D) pour commencer la
lecture
a
partir du point de depart.
La lecture se poursuit tant que la
touche Play est enfoncee. (Si
necessaire, reglez les points
demarrage, arret et boucle).
4. Nouvel enregistrement
• Appuyez sur le bouton EDIT/PAGE
pour afficher la premiere page
d'edition de parametre.
• Appuyez sur la touche Ready
(bouton FUNCTION E). L'appareil
passe au mode d'attente
d'enregistrement et emet
a
nouveau
un son.
• Repetez la procedure de I'etape 2 ci-
dessus.
Note:
Le son enregistre est efface quand
l'alimentation est coupee, quand un
programme est modifie, que la structure est
modifiee ou le mode derivation est
selectionne. La fonction Save ne permet pas
de sauvegarder le son enregistre en
memoire.

Die Funktion Freeze besteht aus zwei

Wiedergabe.
Beim Multiprozessor HR-MPS sind diese
beiden Funktionen jeweils der ersten bzw.
der zweiten Bearbe1tungsseite zugeordnet.
Die Verwendung der Aufnahme- und
Wiedergabefunktionen ist nachstehend
beschrieben.
1. Vorbereitung zur Aufnahme
• Gehen Sie in den Editiermodus, und
laden Sie FREEZ in den Effektblock
EFFl. Laden Sie FREEZ <lurch
Andern des Effekttyps. Ist FREEZ
bereits geladen, entfallt dieser Schritt
(siehe S.
31).
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dal3 die erste
Bearbeitungsseite des Parameters
angezeigt wird. Sie horen nun einen
Ton, una das Gerat wird in den
Aufnahmebereitschaftsmodus
versetzt.
2. Aufnahme
• Wurde als Aufnahmemodus "Key"
(manueller Ausloser) gewahlt,
dri.icken Sie die Taste REC zum
gewi.inschten Zeitpunkt, um die
Aufnahme zu starten.
• Wurde
als Aufnahmemodus "Auto"
(automatischer Ausloser) gewahlt,
stellen Sie zunachst den
Schwellenparameter (Threshold) ein
und dri.icken dann die Taste "Ready"
(Funktionstaste E). Die Aufnahme
setzt nun automatisch ein, sobald ein
Signal eingeht, das diesen
Schwellenwert i.iberschreitet. Falls
die Aufnahme sofort nach dem
Einstellen des Aufnahmemodus auf
"Auto" gestartet wird, dri.icken Sie
die Taste Ready, um die Aufnahme
neu zu starten.
• Wenn die Aufnahme abgeschlossen
ist, hiirt der Ton automatisch auf.
3. Wiedergabe
• Dri.icken Sie die Taste EDIT /PAGE,
um die zweite Bearbeitungsseite
anzuzeigen.
Dri.icken Sie die Taste Play
(Funktionstaste D), um die
Wiedergabe von der Startposition
(Start Point) zu starten. Die
Wiedergabe wird solange fortgesetzt,
wie Sie die Taste Play dri.icken.
Stellen Sie die Start-, Stop- und
Schleifenposition nach Wunsch ein.
4. Erneute Aufnahme
• Dri.icken Sie die Taste EDIT /PAGE,
um die erste Bearbeitungsseite
anzuzeigen.
• Dri.icken Sie die Taste Ready
(Funktionstaste E). Das Gerat wird in
Aufnahmebereitschaft versetzt, und
der Ton wird wieder hiirbar.
• Wiederholen Sie die unter Pun kt 2
aufgefi.ihrten Schritte.
Hinweis:
Das aufgenommene Tonmaterial wird
geliischt, wenn der Netzschalter
ausgeschaltet wird, eine
Programmanderung stattfindet, die
StruKtur geandert wird oder der
Umgehungsmodus gewiihlt wird. Der
Spe1chervorgang Save kann nicht zum
Speichem des aufgenommenen Materials
im Speicher verwendet werden.
