5.10.10 - STEP

Optional for 800 and 1000 narrow, standard on 1000 and 1200 wide.
CAUTION
Risk of damage!
Never operate the sprayer with the step deployed!
DANGER
Risk of falling
Do not stand on the platform or the ladder when moving
the machine!
5.10.10.1 Moving the ladder
With the step folded and locked in the transport
position (A)
• To deploy the step:
◊ clear the step (1) from the fixed part (2) by lifting it,
◊ deploy the step.
The step is deployed (B).
• To retract the step:
◊ lift the step (1),
◊ fold the step back to the vertical position until it locks.

5.10.11 - THE SAFETY OF THE AUTOMATIC COUPLING

WARNING
There is an accident hazard if the machine and trac-
tor become separated!
• Always secure the hitch by attaching the safety
cable (C) to a solid part of the tractor and so that it
does not interfere with the drive shaft.
• Ensure that the sling and safety cable and its
attachments are in good condition.

5.10.12 - BRAKING

• In reference to the French law of 18 August 1955 as modified, Vectis does not require braking.
