7.1.10.2 Disposal of the sprayer
IMPORTANT
Clean the sprayer completely (inside and out) before disposing of it.
• The tanks, mixer, hoods, hoses and plastic connectors must be incinerated for energy recovery.
• Metal parts may be scrapped.
► Respect the current legislation regarding the disposal of each type of material.
7.2 - OPERATING CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT
Read the usage instructions provided with the phytosanitary products used and comply with the doses
and the precautionary measures indicated.
IMPORTANT
• The preliminary condition in order to spread the phytosanitary products in a correct and
satisfactory way is to be sure to have a sprayer in good working condition.
• Use and clean the filtration systems
• Thoroughly clean your sprayer before using a different phytosanitary product.
• Rinse the spray circuit for every nozzle change.
IMPORTANT
To reduce the risk of drifting
• Spray early in the morning or late in the evening (there is generally less wind at this time of day).
• Use anti-drift nozzles.
• Maintain a precise boom height: the close the line of the nozzles is to the treated target, the lower
the risk of drifting.
• Reduce the advancement speed (to under 8 km/h).
• Comply with recommended spraying distances for the different phytosanitary products.
► Take additional measures to reduce drift if the wind speed is of 3 m/s.
• Do not spray with wind speeds over 5 m/s !
