Troubleshooting

(1) When the RUN LED flashes or turns off
(a) When flashing
Check item
Is the operation mode setting in the offset/gain setting mode?
(b) When turning off
Check item
Is the power supplied?
Is the capacity of power supply module enough?
Is there any watchdog timer error?
Is the module connected properly?
(2) When the ERR. LED turns on or flashes
(a) When turning on
Check item
Does any error occur?
(b) When flashing
Check item
Is the value other than 0 set for Switch 5 of the intelligent function
module switch setting?
(3) When the ALM LED turns on or flashes
(a) When turning on
Check item
Is there any alarm output?
(b) When flashing
Check item
Is there any input signal error?

Take the either of the following actions:
• switch the operation mode setting in the intelligent function
module switch setting to the normal mode, or
• correct Switch4 in the intelligent function module switch setting to
switch the operation mode setting to the normal mode.
Check that the supply voltage of power supply module is within the
rated range.
Make sure that the power capacity is enough by calculating the
current consumption such as a connected CPU module, an I/O
module, and an intelligent function modules.
Reset the CPU module, and check if the RUN LED turns on.
If the RUN LED remains off, the module may be failed.
Please consult a local Mitsubishi representative.
Check the module connection.
Check the error code, and take the action described in the error
code list.

With the parameter setting, set 0 for Switch 5 in the intelligent
function module switch setting.
Check Warning output flag (Process alarm) (Un\G50).
Check Input signal error detection flag (Un\G49)
