2.1.2 The procedure in the EFI shell
Caution!
The PC may not be switched off or reset when an update is being performed!
1. Download the .zip file from the B&R website (www.br-automation.com).
2. Unzip the .zip file and copy the data to a FAT16- or FAT32-formatted USB flash drive. Alternatively, a CFast
card can also be used.
3. Reboot the PC and select the "internal shell" as the boot device (press the F5 key to open the boot menu).
4. After booting the EFI shell, the "startup.nsh" is performed and the BIOS upgrade is started.
5. The system must be rebooted after a successful upgrade.
6. Reboot and press the F2 key to enter BIOS Setup and load the setup defaults, then select "Save changes
and exit".
