To Close
WARNING
• The engine hood is very heavy. When you close the engine hood, be careful not
to trap your hands or anything else.
ADVICE
• Do not drop the engine hood from a height of over 60 cm (23.6 in). The engine
hood and radiator grille may be damaged by the impact.
• When closing the engine hood, do not press it strongly, such as by putting your
weight on it. Doing so may bend the engine hood.

WARNING
• Do not drive unless the engine hood is complete closed. Driving with the engine
hood open could lead to an accident. Before driving, confirm that the engine
hood is securely locked.
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Remove the support rod from the
groove of the engine hood and install
it into the clip.
2. Lower the engine hood slowly, and
release your hands at a height of
approximately 15 to 20 cm (5.9 to 7.9
in).
3. Gently push and pull the edge of the
engine hood to make sure that it has
been securely locked in place.
