PRE-DRIVING OPERATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Locking and Unlocking the Doors from Outside
Request switch
NOTE
• When locking, the hazard warning lights flash once. If the dome light switch or
map light switch is in the door position, the dome light or map light goes out.
• When unlocking, the hazard warning lights flash twice. If the dome light switch
or map light switch is in the door position, the dome light or map light comes on
for approximately 30 seconds.
• If the person with the electronic key is within operating range for locking
and unlocking the doors, other people may also lock or unlock the doors by
operating the request switch.
• The passive entry and start system will not lock the doors in the following cases:
- The power mode is other than "OFF".
- The electronic key is within operating range for starting the engine.
- One of the doors is open.
• When leaving the vehicle, be sure to check that the doors are locked.
• If the function fails to operate normally, lock and unlock the doors using the key
and have the system inspected by your Isuzu Dealer.
Using the Passive Entry and Start
System
While carrying the electronic key, press the
request switch on the driver side door and
passenger side door to lock all the doors.
Press it again to unlock all the doors.
