PRE-DRIVING OPERATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS

Unlocking
Press the unlock button on the remote
control unit. When the super lock is
deactivated, the hazard warning flasher will
flash twice.
In models with passive entry and start
system, press the request switch while
in possession of the electronic key also
deactivates the super lock.
CAUTION
• Unlocking is not possible in any
other way, so keep the remote

control unit to hand in a safe place.
• If you use the key to open the
vehicle door, the horn will sound and
the hazard warning flasher will flash
on and off.
To stop the horn and hazard warning

flasher, perform any of the following
operations:
- Push the engine start/stop button
to switch the power mode to "ON"
(models with passive entry and
start system).
- Insert the key into the starter
switch and turn it to the "ON"
position in models with keyless

entry system (radio remote control
units for door-lock).
- Press the request switch while in
possession of the electronic key
(models with passive entry and
start system).
- Press the unlock button on the
remote control unit.
