INTERIOR
DOOR SURROUND PANEL
REMOVAL
(1) Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent,
remove the door sill.
(2) Separate the primary door seal from the sur-
round.
(3) Remove the front screws. (Fig. 8)
(4) Remove the side and top screws. (Fig. 9)
(5) Using a flat blade scraper, cut the sealant from
between surround panel, frame and front of dash
panel.

INSTALLATION
(1) Clean sealant residue from frame and sill
panel.
(2) Paint metal panels to avoid corrosion if neces-
sary.
(3) Apply new sealant to the frame and front of
dash. (Refer to 23 - BODY/BODY STRUCTURE/
SEALER LOCATIONS - SPECIFICATIONS)
(4) Install surround panel.
(5) Install the screws.
(6) Install the primary door seal.
(7) Install the door sill panel.

REAR VIEW MIRROR
REMOVAL
(1) Loosen screw attaching rear view mirror to
mirror support button (Fig. 10).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector.
(3) Remove mirror from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
(1) Position the mirror base at the bracket and
slide it downward onto the support bracket.
(2) Tighten the setscrew 1 N·m (15 in. lbs.) torque.
(3) Connect mirror harness connector.
INSTALLATION - REAR VIEW MIRROR
SUPPORT BRACKET
(1) Mark the position for the mirror bracket on the
outside of the windshield glass with a wax pencil.
(2) Clean the bracket contact area on the glass.
Use a mild powdered cleanser on a cloth saturated
with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Finally, clean the
glass with a paper towel dampened with alcohol.
(3) Sand the surface on the support bracket with
fine grit-sandpaper. Wipe the bracket surface clean
with a paper towel.
(4) Apply accelerator to the surface on the bracket
according to the following instructions:
