Status Byte Register - read with *STB?

RQS................. the IEEE 488.1 Service Request Flag read by Serial Poll.
MSS ................ the Master Summary Status is generated by performing a bit by bit AND
ESB ................. the Event Summary Bit generation is described under Standard Event
MAV ............... the Message Available Status Bit is set when there is data in the Output
Comm. T.O. .... set when a communication time out event occurs. Cleared when the
PRIM_ERR..... this is the Primary Status Summary Bit.
SRQ_IS ........... this is the Channels Events Summary Bit.
Service Request Enable Register - set with *SRE, read with
*SRE?

The Service Request Enable Register has mask bits at positions corresponding to the
status bits of the Status Byte. Unused bits are cleared.
The SRE Register is used for calculating the MSS and RQS flags.
Parallel Poll Enable Register - set with *PRE, read with
*PRE?

The Parallel Poll Enable Register has mask bits at positions corresponding to the status
bits of the Status Byte. Unused bits are cleared.
The PRE Register is used for calculating the IEEE 488.1 IST (Individual Status) message
