For every Command and Query, this section presents the following type of description:

In the descriptions that follow, Commands and Queries starting with "*" are IEEE 488.2

In the descriptions that follow, MNEMONICS are shown in Upper Case
letters. When used for programming the XMP 2600 - letter case is
ignored.
A Sequential Command is a command that cause all commands and
queries that follow it to be held off until its operation is completed. An
Overlapped Command is executed in the background while other
Commands and Queries are being parsed.
clears all Event Status Registers. Also clears the summary bits in the
Status Byte Register.

assign new value to the Standard Event Status Enable Register. Re-
calculates <rqs> and <ist>.
