Function
•
A potentiometer is installed under the knob. As
the knob is turned, the potentiometer shaft is
turned.
•
As the potentiometer shaft is turned, the resist-
ance of the variable resistor in potentiometer (5)
changes and a throttle signal is sent to the en-
gine controller.
•
The hatched area in the graph shown at right is
the abnormality detection area.
