Assembly
a Clean all parts, and check for dirt or damage.
Coat the sliding surfaces of all parts with
engine oil before installing.
1. Bearing
Using push tool F2, press fit bearing (31) to
case (35).
2. Cover assembly
1) Using push tool F1, press fit oil seal (33)
to cover (27).

Outside circumference of oil seal:
a Be careful not to let the gasket seal-
ant (LG-6) get on the oil seal lip when
press fitting.

2) Fit cover assembly (27) to case (35), and
tighten mounting bolts (28).

Cover mounting surface:

Lip of oil seal: Grease (G2-LI)
a Be careful not to let the gasket seal-
ant (LG-6) get on the oil seal lip when
press fitting.

3. Case assembly
1) Set case assembly (35) to shaft (32), then
using push tool [2], press fit bearing inner
race portion.
a When setting the case assembly to
the shaft, be extremely careful not to
damage the oil seal.
