6.4 Replacing components
Preparatory steps
● Observe the "five safety rules".
● Disconnect the cabinet from the power supply (do not forget the external power supplies).
● Have the fuse equipment ready: NH fuse puller with forearm protection for NH fuse-links

Note
The NH fuse puller can be ordered from Siemens with order number 3NX1 if required.
Removal steps
1. Open the cabinet.
2. Front shock protection cover of the cabinet
3. Put the NH fuse puller with forearm protection for NH fuse-links over the fuse
4. Remove the defective fuse.

CAUTION
Cover over the line connections
Do not remove the cover (touch protection) over the line connections!
