o If both flow alert and flow alert sound are set to YES
(default setting):
 The flow alert "Notice: Draining slowly" or
"Notice: Filling slowly" displays on the cycler
screen
 The flow alert sound plays once a minute for a
total of three times or until the flow resumes.
 If flow does not resume after the third alert, an
alarm will occur
o If flow alert is set to YES and flow alert sound is set
to NO:
 The flow alert "Notice: Draining slowly" or
"Notice: Filling slowly" displays on the cycler
screen
 The flow alert sound will NOT occur
 If flow does not resume after the third alert
message, an alarm will occur
o If both flow alert and flow alert sound are set to NO:
 The flow alert message will NOT display
 The flow alert sound will NOT occur
 The cycler displays an alarm when you are
draining or filling slowly
The alarm that displays depends on whether you are
draining or filling. If you continue to drain slowly, a
'drain complication' alarm will display. If you continue
to fill slowly, a 'patient line blocked' alarm will
display.
Flow alert and flow alert sound both default to YES.
Follow your PD nurse's instructions on which setting is
appropriate for you.
When you touch a yellow button, it will turn orange.
Use the Up/Down Arrow
prescribed value. Repeat these steps to enter all of your
prescribed values.
Press the OK key to confirm and save your settings.
Touch the hardware button to go to the "Hardware
Settings" screen.
