My Settings
The first time you start your machine, the "Ready" screen
will display default treatment values for an "Unknown"
patient. Default treatment values are a preselected option
by the manufacturer and may not match the patient's
prescription.
Before starting your first treatment on the cycler, a
prescription must be entered. The prescription can be
manually entered or transferred from an IQdrive. Use the
treatment settings from the "My Treatment settings" sheet
on page 6 or follow your PD nurse's instructions.
To manually enter your treatment settings, touch the My
Settings screen-button. You will then go to the "My
Settings" screen.

Note: If your name and treatment settings are
already displayed on this screen, you do not need to
enter them again. Check that the values match
your prescription. You may begin your treatment
by turning to page 98.
Note: If the 'USB enabled' option under "My
Settings: Options" is set to YES and an IQdrive is
correctly inserted into the IQdrive slot on your
cycler, this screen might not be immediately
displayed. See "Using the IQdrive," on page 194
for more information.
Note: If the USB enabled option is set to YES but
an IQdrive is not inserted into the IQdrive slot on
your cycler, your treatment data will be saved only
to your cycler.
Note: If you are using the IQdrive to program your
treatment, you do not need to enter your therapy
information. Turn to page 76 to enter your patient,
options, and hardware settings.
