The stay•safe Organizer
Always use aseptic technique during all connections and
disconnections to reduce the potential risk of infections.
The Liberty Cycler set includes stay•safe PIN connectors
that encourage aseptic technique. Insert the stay•safe
Organizer onto the mounting tab on your cycler below the
Control Panel. Your Liberty Cycler set will be ready to
hold your stay•safe PIN connector during your treatment
setup. For more information about the stay•safe PIN
connector, see page 38.
New Cap Holder
Insert a new stay•safe cap into this holder to keep it clean
while using both hands to set up your cycler for treatment.
Always remember to use a new stay•safe cap every time
you disconnect yourself from the cycler.
stay•safe Organizer Clip
The stay•safe PIN connector on the patient line (blue
clamp) fits into this holder. The organizer clip keeps it in
place so you can connect yourself to it when your cycler
instructs you to. Do not depress the blue button on the PIN
connector when placing it into the stay•safe Organizer clip
during set up.
Tubing Channel
The tubing channel keeps the Patient Line (blue clamp) in
place during set up, connection and disconnection. Be sure
to press the tubing in firmly to prevent it from popping out
of the tubing channel.
Extension Cap Holder
The Extension Cap Holder is the right notch of the
organizer. Place the end of your catheter extension set into
the right notch.
