Terminating resistor should be provided for a GOT and a temperature controller which will be a terminal.

Set the 2-wire type ←→ 4-wire type/terminating resistor setting switch of the RS-232/485 signal conversion adapter as follows.
2-wire type ←→ 4-wire type: 4-wire type (2 pairs)
Terminating resistor: OPEN

Connect FG grounding to the appropriate part of a cable shield line.
