13) Support the fuel tank with a transmission jack,
remove the band mounting bolts, and remove the
fuel tank from the vehicle.
WARNING:
• A helper is required to perform this work.
• Fuel may remain in the side which does not
have drain plug of fuel tank. This will cause the
left and right sides to be unbalanced. Be careful
not to drop the fuel tank when removing.
B: INSTALLATION
1) Support the fuel tank with a transmission jack
and push the fuel tank harness into the access hole
together with the grommet.
2) Set the fuel tank and temporarily tighten the
bolts of fuel tank bands.
WARNING:
A helper is required to perform this work.
3) Connect the fuel filler hose (A) to the pipe with an
overlap of 35 — 40 mm (1.38 — 1.57 in).

4) Connect the evaporation hose (B) to the pipe.
NOTE:
Do not allow the clips to touch other hoses and rear
suspension crossmember.

5) Connect the fuel hoses, and secure with clips
and quick connectors. <Ref. to FU(H4DOTC)-71,

6) Connect the connector to the pressure control
solenoid valve.
7) Attach the canister. <Ref. to EC(H4DOTC)-7,
INSTALLATION, Canister.>
