Phase Difference
Measurement
The 1/~T cursor function can also be used to measure and
compute the phase difference between two signals. Phase
comparison between two signals of the same frequency can be
made using the dual-trace feature of the instrument. The
phase-difference measurement can be made up to the frequency
limit of the vertical system.

To obtain a reliable measurement result, use either probes or
coaxial cables with equal time delays. You can use the following
procedure to make a phase comparison measurement (see
Figure 3-9):
