Performance Tests
i. Toggle the Trigger SOURCE switch to EXT : 10.
j. CHECK - That the display can be triggered at about
the midrange of the Trigger LEVEL control.
k. Push the Trigger SLOPE switch to the negative going
slope and repeat part j.
1. Disconnect the test equipment from the instrument.
Step 6. TV Field Trigger Sensitivity
a. SET:
Vertical MODE ........................ CH 2
VOL TS/DIV (CH 2) .................. 1 V
SEC/DIV ................................... 0.2 ms
Trigger SLOPE ......................... Negative Going
Trigger MODE ......................... TV FIELD
b. Connect the TV signal generator video output to the
CH 2 ORY input connector via a 50
n
BNC coaxial ca-
ble.
c. Press the lower part of the V ARiable VOL TS/DIV
control for a one-division composite sync signal display.
d. CHECK - That a stable display is obtained.
e. SET:
CH 2 INVert ............................. INV
Trigger SLOPE ......................... Positive Going
f. CHECK - That a stable display is obtained.
