4. For Local ISO Images: The ISO images must be on the root-folder of
USB storage device.
a. Connect the USB-storage to the User Station.
b. Select the Local ISO Image option. The Select button opens a
dialog with a list of all ISO images found. Select the one you want
to use and close the dialog with OK.
5. For remote ISO images on a file server:
Remote ISO images must be setup in KX3 to be available for
selection by the KVM-Client. See Virtual Media File Server Setup in
KX3's online help.

a. Select the Remote Server ISO Image option.
b. Select Hostname and Image from the drop-down list.
The hostnames (file servers) and image paths available in the list
are those that you configured using the KX III KVM switch's File
Server Setup page. See the KVM switch's user documentation for
further information.
c. File Server Username - User name required for access to the
file server. The name can include the domain name such as
mydomain/username.
d. File Server Password - Password required for access to the file
server (field is masked as you type).
6. Click OK.
The media will be mounted on the target server virtually. You can access
the media just like any other drive.
