Configure the date and time using the tab labeled
(on page 172).
If the date and time synchronizes with an NTP server in the "Date
and Time" tab, you must set the time zone correctly. See
Zone
(on page 173).
Note: For "manually customized" date and time, the time zone
setting does NOT affect the time displayed onscreen, but it does
affect the internal UTC-based clock. Therefore, make sure the time
zone setting is correct and do NOT change it unless required.

Date and Time

Follow one of the following procedures to set the date and time.
To manually customize the date and time:
1. In the Date and Time tab, deselect the time synchronization
checkbox.
2. Click a date in the calendar, and adjust the Hour, Minute and Second
settings.
To synchronize with the NTP time server:
1. Select the time synchronization checkbox.
2. NTP servers detected in your network are listed in the dialog.
If the desired NTP server is not listed, click Add and type its IP
address/host name.
If any NTP server is incorrect, select it and click Edit to modify it.
If any NTP server is not needed, select it and click Delete.
3. Click Advanced Options to configure these checkboxes:
Speed up initial synchronization:
Date and Time
Time
