rmon collection stats
Use the rmon collection stats interface configuration command to collect Ethernet group statistics,
which include utilization statistics about broadcast and multicast packets, and error statistics about
Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) alignment errors and collisions. Use the no form of this command to
return to the default setting.

Usage Guidelines
The RMON statistics collection command is based on hardware counters.
Examples
This example shows how to collect RMON statistics for the owner root on Gigabit Ethernet interface 0/1:
Switch(config)# interface gigabitethernet0/1
Switch(config-if)# rmon collection stats 2 owner root
You can verify your setting by entering the show rmon statistics privileged EXEC command.
