cluster outside-interface
Use the cluster outside-interface global configuration command to configure the outside interface for
cluster Network Address Translation (NAT) so that a member without an IP address can communicate
with devices outside the cluster. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting.

The default outside interface is automatically selected by the command switch.

Usage Guidelines
Enter this command only on the command switch. If you enter this command on a member switch, an
error message appears.
Examples
This example shows how to set the outside interface to VLAN 1:
Switch(config)# cluster outside-interface vlan 1
You can verify your setting by entering the show running-config privileged EXEC command.

Modification
This command was first introduced.
Interface to serve as the outside interface. Valid interfaces include
physical interfaces, port-channels, or VLANs. The port-channel
range is 1 to 64. The VLAN range is 1 to 4094.
