dot1x system-auth-control
Use the dot1x system-auth-control global configuration command to enable 802.1X globally. Use the
no form of this command to return to the default setting.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults
802.1X is disabled.

Usage Guidelines
You must enable authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) and specify the authentication
method list before enabling 802.1X globally. A method list describes the sequence and authentication
methods to be queried to authenticate a user.
Examples
This example shows how to enable 802.1X globally on a switch:
Switch(config)# dot1x system-auth-control
You can verify your settings by entering the show dot1x privileged EXEC command.
