5.4.2.5 Diagnostics Menu
The Diagnostics menu provides information for diagnostic purposes (read-only). In addition,
you can perform a self test and other tests.
To ...
Perform a check (for example, filter validation or grating validation) and make
the required settings.
See status information for various components and perform the related
commands if necessary.
See general information about the detector (see the following table).

On the Information menu, you can see the following information:
To see general information about the ...
Detector, such as, module name, firmware version, and operating hours.
Main board, such as, serial number and hardware configuration details.
Optics, such as, serial number and operating hours of the optics and lamps.
Related lamp, such as, serial number, operation status, number of ignitions, and
operating hours.
Flow cell, such as, serial number, flow cell type, volume, and path length.
5.4.2.6 Configuration Menu
The Configuration menu provides information about the detector configuration and allows
you to make the required settings or change the settings.
To ...
Restore the factory settings. In the Reset to factory defaults? dialog
box, select OK to confirm the restore or select Cancel to keep your
settings.
Set whether leak detection is performed and how you are alerted in case
of an alarm:
Enabled-activates leak detection. When a leak is detected, a message
appears on the front panel display and a beep sounds.
Silent-activates leak detection. When a leak is detected, a message
appears on the front panel display, but no beep sounds.
Disabled-deactivates leak detection.
Set the parameters for the channels of the DAC board, for example,
mode, resolution, and offset.
Set the function of the related output relay.
Set the parameters for digital input operation.
