5.4.2.1 General Menu Layout and Structure
In general, the menu layout is as follows:

Reports the menu name and the number of items on the menu list.

The menu items appear on a list and are numbered consecutively.
The selected item is underlined.

Navigation bar
Select an item with the arrow up or down key—the selected item is underlined. Confirm
your selection with Select. Back returns you to the previous menu level.
The selected menu item or parameter determines which function keys appear on the
navigation bar:
To ...
Return to the previous entry on a list.
If the list contains 5 or more items, you can use the arrow up key to scroll up through
the list, after reaching the first line (→ Key autorepeat, page 71).
Increment numerical values.
Proceed to the next entry on a list.
If the list contains 5 or more items, you can use the arrow down key to scroll down
through the list, after reaching the fourth line (→ Key autorepeat, page 71).
Proceed to the next figure in a number. Any decimal point is skipped.
Confirm the selection and activate the input field if applicable.
Note: If an item is read-only, the Select key will not be available.
- Return to the previous menu level.
- Return to the status screen (from the Main menu).
