Remedial Action
Verify that the flow cell is installed correctly (→ page 126).
Check the flow cell and retry. Verify that at least one lamp is turned on.
Turn the lamp(s) off and on again and retry. Reinitialize the grating motor
by performing the Reset command in Chromeleon. Consider replacing the
deuterium lamp (→ page 121).
Calibration is possible only when the lamps are turned on. Verify that the
lamps are turned on. Turn the lamps off and on again if necessary and
retry. Reinitialize the grating motor by performing the Reset command in
Chromeleon. Consider replacing the deuterium lamp (→ page 121).
Turn the detector off, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it on again by
pressing the power switch on the rear of the detector.
The filters and/or mirrors are dull or steamed up. In this case, contact
Service.
The selected wavelength is outside the spectral range of the active lamp.
Turn on the other lamp or change the wavelength setting.
