TROUBLESHOOTING
The ignition system fails to operate (no spark or intermittent spark).
TIP
• Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Rider seat/Air scoop/Air scoop stay/Side cover
2. Fuel tank cover
3. Fuel tank
4. Air filter case
1. Check the fuses.
(Main, ignition and backup)

2. Check the battery.

3. Check the spark plugs.

5. Check the ignition coils.

6. Check the crankshaft position sen-
sor.

7. Check the cylinder identification
sensor.

• Clean the battery terminals.
