Introduction

Introduction
The slave diagnostics behaves according the
dependence on the DP master it can be read out using STEP 7 for all DP slaves that behave
according to the standard.
The readout and the configuration of the slave diagnostics is described in the follow sections.

This is an example of how to use the SFC 13 to read out the slave diagnostics for a DP slave
in the STEP 7 user program.
Assumptions
The following assumptions apply for this STEP 7 user program:
● The diagnostics address of the ET 200iSP is 1022 (3FE
● The slave diagnostics should be stored in the DB 82: from address 0.0, length 96 bytes.
● The slave diagnostics comprises 96 bytes.
