6.3 Project Engineering with GSD File and SIMATIC PDM
● To work online with SIMATIC PDM, you require a PROFIBUS-DP interface, such as
CP5611 (6GK1561-1AA00). The CP must be set to the PROFIBUS-DP interface (in
SIMATIC Manager: menu command Options > Set PG/ PC Interface).

If you are configuring with the GSD file and SIMATIC PDM, create your project in two
steps:
