Designating Ports in the Command Line Interface for Stacks

The individual ports on the switches in a stack are specified in the
command line interface with the PORT parameter. The format of the
parameter is shown in Figure 13.

Here is an example of the PORT parameter on a switch in a stack. It uses
the INTERFACE command to enter the Port Interface mode for ports 1
and 7 in the switch with the ID number 2:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port2.0.1,port2.0.7

Designates the switch's ID number, 1 to 4,
displayed on the Switch ID LED.
Designates the module number of a port.
This value is always 0 (zero) for x550
Series switches because they do not
support modules.
