Control Bracketing

Control bracketing is a process that allows worklist results to be released in smaller subsets.
With control bracketing, PROCLEIX
well as at the end of the worklist. The set of specimens between sets of PROCLEIX TIGRIS
Controls (or, for the first bracket, between the calibrators and the first set of PROCLEIX TIGRIS
Controls) are considered a "control bracket."
The default bracket size is 172 specimens, but this can be changed to any value between 1
and 492 for a single analyte assay or between 1 and 487 for a triple analyte assay.
If other criteria described in the appropriate assay package insert are met, such as calibrators
being valid, the validity of specimens is evaluated by brackets. Results for in-process worklists
