LIS File Naming Convention
An LIS file may consist of an entire worklist or a bracket of a worklist if the Control Bracketing
is enabled. The naming convention for LIS files is as follows:
< P r e f i x > < I n s t r u m e n t S e r i a l N u m b e r > - < S TA R T D AT E - T I M E > - < W o r k l i s t I D > -
<BracketStartReplicate>-<BracketEndReplicate>.<Ext>
Filename Part
Prefix
InstrumentSerialNumber
STARTDATE-TIME
WorklistID
BracketStartReplicate
BracketEndReplicate
Ext
If more than one bracket is exported at once (for example, if the entire worklist is being
exported or if multiple brackets are queued up due to an error transmitting an earlier bracket)
then the BracketStartReplicate and BracketEndReplicate will reflect the starting position and
ending position of all replicates exported, not just one bracket.
Examples of output filenames (assuming PROCLEIX ULTRIO
number 1023, Run Start Date is October 1, 2005 at 3:24:31 PM, WorklistID is 100000.):
@NA21023-20051001-152431-100000.LIS (Re-exportation of bracketed run or no brackets
used)
or
@NA21023-20051001-152431-100000-00001-00020.LIS (first bracket of 20 tests processed
in a 40 sample worklist)
and
@NA21023-20051001-152431-100000-00021-00040.LIS (second bracket of 20 tests
processed in a 40 sample worklist)

Present when Control Bracketing is enabled. This represents the index
of the replicate that starts the result bracket. It is only part of the filename
if the Auto Transmit Results function is enabled, allowing brackets to
export as they are released.
Note: This is not part of a filename if re-exporting an entire worklist
that was bracketed.
