3. In the Time field, set the clock to the current time by selecting the portion of time to be
changed and using the up and down arrows to change each one.
Note: Time values cannot be entered or typed in manually; values must be
selected using the up and down arrows.
4. If desired, click Set Date/Time Formats... to set date and time formats.
The Set Date/Time Formats window opens.
a) Manually enter the desired formats for short date, long date, and time. Use Table
5.9 as a guide.
Note: Any deviations from the format codes in Table 5.9 will produce error
windows, which will prompt the operator to correct the error.

b) Click OK to register changes and return to the Set Date and Time window.
When any formats are changed using this window, the formats of the date and time
are immediately updated to the new format in the Set Date and Time window.
5. Click OK in the Set Date and Time window to save all changes.
Note: Most laboratories should only have to format the date and time once.
