The cost of the path to the other bridge from this transmitting bridge at the specified port.
Path Cost
Path cost range is 1 through 200000000.
Decide which port should be blocked by priority in your LAN. Range is 0 through 240 in
Port Priority
increments of 16.
Some of the rapid state transactions that are possible within RSTP are dependent upon
whether the port in question can be concerned to exactly one other bridge (that is, it is
Oper P2P
served by a point-to-point LAN segment), or can be connected to two or more bridges (that is,
it is served by a shared medium LAN segment).
Present in implementations that support the identification of edge ports. All ports directly
connected to end stations cannot create bridging loops in the network and can thus directly
Oper Edge
transition to forwarding, skipping the listening and learning stages. When the non-bridge
device connects an admin edge port, this port is in blocking state and turn to forwarding
state in 4 seconds.
