1.5.6.1 Event Log Configuration
Enter the following commands to view and set priority for event logs.
System Name(config-mon)# eventlog
System Name(config-mon-eventlog)# priority emergency
System Name(config-mon-eventlog)# reset yes
System Name(config-mon-eventlog)#exit
System Name(config-mon)#exit
System Name(config)#exit
System Name# show eventlog

Log Reset : 1
To display the event log messages, use the following command:
System Name# show eventlog-messages
It displays the recent event log entries.
If you want to clear the log, use the following commands:
System Name# clear eventlog-messages

SNTP allows a network entity to communicate with time servers in the network/Internet to retrieve and synchronize the time
of day information. When this feature is enabled, the device will attempt to retrieve the time of day information from the
configured time servers (primary or secondary) and, if successful, will update the relevant time objects in the device. Use the
following commands to configure and view the Simple Network Time Protocol.
