(12) Replacing the LCD monitor
* This section explains the procedure applicable to the monitor tower (L) assembly. Repeat the procedure
for the monitor tower (R) assembly.
● The LCD monitor weighs approximately 28 kg. To prevent accidents, it should be replaced by two or
more people in a large work area.
● In order to avoid electric shock, accident or injury to yourself or others as well as damage to the
electronic circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting this task.
1 Turn off the power switch.
(See P-81 "8A-8 Turning the Power Switch On".)

Remove the back panel from the rear side of the monitor tower (L) assembly.
(See step 2 in P-101 "(8) Replacing the AMP PC board".)
3 Loosen the four cap screws (M) (M2 x 8) and remove the monitor board cover.
